What is "USSR" fashion?

Fashion in the Soviet Union largely followed general trends of the Western world. However, the state’s socialist ideology consistently moderated and influenced these trends. In addition, shortages of consumer goods meant that the general public did not have ready access to pre-made fashion. Scovit fashions circa: 1954.

Top two rules that you can be solve out bad behaviour (Ten Commandments Edition)

2: You should not take the name of the Lord your God in vain This 2nd commandment reminds us of the power of words that we use. Our words have to show our behaviour, and also the shapes of behaviour. When we use God's name to express anger or making fun of someone for example: Oh my God! (OMG), we connect with God with anger. This commandment reminds us of not taking God's name in vain, when you are saying "Oh My God, "you are taking his name in vain, and it is not respectful, that's means you are making fun of him. Examples of taking God's name in vain. 1: Obey You Parents/Guardians (Honour your father and your mother) The 4th commandment teaches us to respect or obey our parents/guardians, grandparents, siblings, cousins, and caregivers. Not just when we are agreeing with them, or when you are doing good things. What makes roller coasters pneumantic and hydraulic?

For hydraulic systems, a sled connects to a roller coaster train, The motor connects uses incompressible hydraulic force. This sled releases to the train, slows down, and heads back, to its starting position. As the hydraulic motor functions, the cable winds around a drum, which pulls the sled. The motor uses incompressible hydraulic fluid in one compartment as it compresses nitrogen gas in another. The power generated throughout this process goes to the cable drum to wind the sled's cable. Hydraulic options when they want faster and smoother acceleration, especially compared to an electromagnetic system. And the launch system as well. A pneumatic system functions similarly to a hydraulic one. The primary difference between the two is that pneumatic launch systems replace nitrogen gas and hydraulic fluid with air.

These are Bernice's cue cards for her hunger project: Part 2

In the 2016 “Who’s Hungry Report,” from “Daily Bread Food Bank, they say “People who live in a disability, and those having a body with a specific kind.” Those people who lived in the entire lives in Canada, and those who were immigrants.   People were struggled  with a lack of income and increasing high costs of shelter and food.  Many who are struggling do not access any food program at all due to stigma, not knowing about them or inability to access them because of lack of money for transit or lack of physical accessibility. Yet we do know that for tens of thousands of people across Toronto, the food bank has become part of their social safety net.  Aside from those important trends, poverty and hunger cut across all demographic boundaries. More and more in Toronto, they include those with both high and low levels of education. Those who are working and those who are not.  Fighting for hunger means to me is to fight is to reduce poverty, and giving people more food.

These are Bernice's cue cards for her hunger project: Part 1

In this report, I will be investigating the issue of hunger in the GTA ( The Greater Toronto Area) In particular, I will focus upon “People With Disabilities or Special Needs.” Questions to be answered are the following: 1: current statistics, 2: Whats the fight against hunger means to me, 3: What can my community and myself do to help; and 4: strategies implemented by both provincial and federal government.   When people have disabilities or special needs, it can affect  people’s areas of people’s lives. This means that people have an influence on something of the lives of people, or sometimes people.  Sometimes, they can suffer from hunger. By 1995, and there has been it increases 5.2% since 2007. Since 2008, there are +48% of people who lived in suburbs (half country, and half city), -16% in the city core, and +13% in overall Toronto, who go to food banks. How to use the historical inquiry process, and what I can do in that stage?

When historians learn about the past, the use various tools. They use the inquiry process, which is a system of asking questions, and finding answers. This helps us understand the past, and historians can think about it to use he "inquiry process." Formulate Questions: It will be challenging to come with a good process question, it helps you with your research. So, they are important, when you research something, that I don't know. They have discussions, people may not have the same ideas or opinion. Gather And Organize: To gather and organize primary source, such as articles, letters, and other things. You will find it helpful of using secondary sources such as rare books and textbooks.

130th anniversary article: Spoonflower fabrics by Jennifer Rosbrugh

In a world with thousands of fabrics in various prints and designs and colors, sometimes you just don’t find what you’re looking for. Enter  Spoonflower  (in 2008) to allow us to order fabric in custom prints. Whoot!  The concept is fabulous! However, as the company was starting to grow many of us sew-ers were curious as to the quality of the textiles as well as the printing. In 2019 I finally had the opportunity to test their service.  Several years ago when casually exploring their available I stumbled upon prints patterned after and influenced by Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion attraction. Oh yes!! Then Disney pulled their weight and my wished-for, famous mansion wallpaper print was removed from the site…. there went my idea of making a full bustle dress in the print. But then in 2019 one theme for  Costume College  was “Tea at the Haunted Manor”, which was going to be based on our beloved Disney ride. Now I had a “real” reason to make something in a HM print.  So I ordered
