Why is Jackie Robinson a "Hero"? By Bernice Chong (Examples are from the movie "42" (2013)

In the film 42,   Jackie Robinson is a hero because he receives a notification. The second thing that Jackie Robinson did to become a hero was he succeeded in his goal. He succeeded in his task, by making goals for his baseball career. He also became a hero because he returns home as a winner to a celebration.     The first reason is that Jackie Robinson became a hero is that he receives vocations. Like for example in the film 42 , he received a vocation to try out for the “ Brooklyn Dodgers .” It is very important for Jackie because he was the first African American man to try to do this kind of baseball thing.    The second reason is that Jackie Robinson succeeded in his goal because he controlled his baseball team: “ The Brooklyn Dodgers” to win. Another example from the film 42 is that Jackie Robinson broke down discrimination against white people and black people. This reason causes other African American players to join the MLB....

How Artknits Thornhill and Markham describes about friendship club for 10 years? (A message)

"Friendship Club". The best thing we got as a therapist . Received this from one of our teens. We started therapy 10 years ago, going from a few words to he's doing the morning announcement at the  office  every morning, helping little kids from  school  buses, making friends in high school now. SO proud of our little founder for our first Saturday groups. One day 10 years ago, he named our Saturday  group "Friendship Club" out of the blue. It woke us up to how important a holistic approach including  psychology , developmental perspective, and ABA is needed for our kids. Since then we promised to continue the name "friendship club" to remind our learning and social is about the balance of skills, competencies, and connections with people.

This is a message from Bernice for trying hard on your quiz

I have got a mark that is over 70% of my quiz. It was very easy, but sometimes, the questions are very challenging for me. And they have put true and false questions. And the last question is so hard for me. And I try to think about it from what I have learned from elementary school, back in my health classes from St. Rene Goupil (Starting going there in 2016 when I was in grade 5). And in this quiz, those are the things that I have worked all the time. I have heard of reading strategies before when my tutor gave some worksheets on inference and main idea. And I have heard of stress when I was in grade 5 when we are learning about what ways to stops stress, and what is stress. So, I have done time management skills before, and I have been a successful student when I am exchanging schools in China and Canada. Most quizzes I have great success on, and some of them, I have failed on. I have heard time management by seeing schedules when I was in grade 4 in Aspirations and Discoveries. Sch...
