We are going to fabricland!

Today, we are visiting Fabricland for shopping for Artknits store stuffed animals , pillows, and other types of things that we can buy. We are making a update version of Fortanato & Josephine's classical knitting dolls. We have to choose our fashion fabrics to continue. There are sewing patterns and knitting supplies and other stuff to choose from. So, we have a brand new singer sewing machine to  sew the stuffie's pockets to put your favorite items inside. But, the original ones back in 1902 when they just started are not the same like them. When knitting was introduced to the Artknits company in 1910, they have started original wool dolls and teddy bears like that. We have someone who cutted fabric for our update supplies!

History Of Artknits Shows

The Artknits work so hardly in 1904 to present. So, he Artknits have started making live shows since 2010. The first concert in 2010 is kindergarten songs. In 2011, The Artknits sung a song together about the Rainbow in Doncrest Public School stage. In 2012, The Artknits is starting to have lots of details, and The Artknits will put numbers on the stage to make them look cool. And the second song they write is Little Snowflake, it is a childrens songs. Back in 1930,  Peitro had started their first theory on music, and he went to a concert in Italy. In 2013, The Artknits have performed a son called "Hickory Dickory Dock" in Asprations and Discoveries, and Bernice Chong was the elephant. So, in 2014, Bernice Chong will plan to play the piano in the concert and introduced the instrument, and the harp also, The first song that she played is the happy song, and it was easy to play. The History Of Toronto Summer Music

Artknits Then & Now: List Of Former Artknits

The Artknits was founded in Italy in 1904, and now the Artknits are Bernice Chong, Anna Romano, Berwin Chong, Olivia Birmingham, Michaela Birmingham, Emily you, Emily So, and other friends from it. For over 115 years, they compose a lots of songs, doing knitting, and baking award winning recipes and across Canada, United States, and other countries. So, lets talk about 5 Artknits who is not in the group anymore, but it is used to be in it. 4: Fortanato/Fortanata (1897-1989) Fortanato is a kntting teacher from early 1904 to early 1989. She was born in fall of 1897 near Rome, Italy, and she has died in the age of 92 in a hospital in Canada. In 1902, Fortanato has started kntting, and her mom showed her how to knit. So, another knitting teacher replaced her in 2014 after when Maria was died. Her cause of death was, she gets cancer and she shakes her hands in the hospital. So, her favorite hobby is to knit dolls and cloaks. In 1977, she have move to Canada to have knitting in a Canadia

The Artknits is a group that could do music, art, cooking, and knitting that forms in Montorio, Italy & Rome, Italy in 1904. Since 2014, the group members have changed into Anna Romano, Bernice Chong, Berwin Chong, Emily So, Michaela Birmingham, Olivia Bermingham, Mya Terentos, and other group members. The original members are Fortanato (1897-1989), Josephine (1899-1939), Peitro (1925-2013), and Maria (1926-2014). So they have created there first activity when they were just started the company. In June 6, 2014, the original members have died and retired, and they will replaced as Romano, Chong, So, Birmingham, and other members. Most original members died in the ages between 30 and 89, and sometimes, they have cancer, heart-attacks, and other health problems. Fortanato and Josephine have started knitting in 1902, and their mums show them how to knit. By 1910, knitting was introduced in the Artknits Company. Is it hard to play the accordion?

You see, the answer is not as simple as it seems. The keyboard  accordion  with chord buttons on the back side of the bellows would be the easier of the two to learn, but still will be a challenge. The button  accordion , the second image, will be far more involved, even  difficult , to learn to  play  well.

Our seasonal music camp (July 15-19)

We have discussed about Cosmo Music: The Musical Instrument Super Store, and we have checked there is a summer music camp in those sections. We have moved to a school that opens in the summertime, and it has lots of summer camps in it. So, our seasonal music camp is for kids from 3-7 years old that is new to music. Our seasonal music camp has the instruments including the piano and the violin. So, the little guys learn how to read music and play scales to know about the basics of music, so after violin class, they are doing rhymes like learning the notes like thw half note has 2 beats, and they will learn motor skills, and social skills. So the business hours of this music camp is from 9:00-4:00. So, it takes 7 hours for this music class to end. So, there is a helper that who was in grade 8, one from grade 9, and one fom grade 10. This is how our seasonal music class is like.

Level 9 history exam!

So, we have discussed about music, and how it was created, and this exam talks about how music changed, and students can learn the eras in music like the Baroque Era, The Classical Era, The Romantic Era, and the Modern Era. So kids will learn music in movies, and learn about the composers in the era. So, this program is for students from grade 9-12 when they are in high school. So, the textbook was from the RCM (Royal Coverstory Of Music) that has lots of music exams. So, students will pay attention and focus on lots of skills, and test them what you have learned! So, you have to take a musical journey to all the eras in this type of history. This program lets students prepare for the level 9 history exam! So, they have audio and games that is for the course and learning the types of music. There is a online version of this exam to when there is a internet connection!

We are editing a novel today!

So in 2017, we have edited a novel called “Up Through The Mountains.” It is a story about a little girl that who was born in the 1840s, so in the early 20th century, she can handle this to go up the mountains herself. So, we have to edit all the parts, and it is coming this September, and it is so great for adults and children to read. We are editing some pages, and we have to finish the story up.

Is it hard to play the double bass?

 Bass is one of the easiest instruments in the world to play, and one of the most difficult to play well. To start off I recomend finding a good used bass (you can almost always do better used than new) and a small practice combo. Then play a lot. It is not "necessary" to learn theory or reading.

Behind the scenes: part 2

So, we have started with some fashion drawings first to make sure how fashions changed, and then we have to put some text about the magazines from this time period. So, I have to write what things do they put in magazines back in this time period. And, I have to use software to complete the title of the book to use some fonts of it. So this book is coming on August 30th of this year. It includes how it changes over time, and how magazines were like back then and now!

That's not surprising when you get a glimpse of the thing: It's a double-reed instrument that looks like someone turned a bong into a saxophone. ... Behind the scenes: part 1

We created by choosing pictures from old magazines and books. Also, we use Elle and other magazines for modern stuff. So, we have research magazines and books from special collections and how are they different from magzines and books today. So, we us our 1865 womens magazine to figure out what clothes are like, and what do they put in books and magazines in this time period. For the others, we reaseach online to find what magazines are like, and how do they change.

So, I have illustrated some illustrations from a woman's magazine from 1865. And I pick the dresses that I put in my magazines like my Elle ones. I have copied a pink coat from Elle what the fashion is like today. I have my newspaper in July of 1859. And I have copied some cartoons what the cartoons are like in magazines from this time period. But, I don't need to copy sheet music. I drew fashions for men, and I put a riding habit in it because I saw in images a print from 1876 has sportswear for men, and men standing beside her and a print from 1871. But I have copied like my "Victorian Ballet School" paper dolls to draw the outfit for men that they wear in the evening. So I drew a black evening ballgown from Harper's Bazaar and, it has roses and some ruffles in the patterns. So, people remember what magazine it is from.

The Evolution Of Books & Magazines: Behind The Scenes!

Hello there, we are making a book about how are books and magazines change over time. So, the first things we need is our illustrator Bernice Chong, who is good at drawing full illustrations, and Ms. Romano will the hostess of this book. So, this book talks about how pages change, and how lots of things change. So, we have started in 1864 because, when I go to a pioneer village to see victorian items, and I saw a French fashion print from 1864 there. And we have a newspaper from 1859, to copy some pictures, and a fashion magazine from 1865 to draw what the fashion is like, and how do they dress that way, and other hobbies and what do they put in it too. So, we have Elle and Vogue magazines to copy modern fashion and devices. And Bernice Chong is going to draw them out So, we are making the years of the magazine between time to time because we want to know how magazines change over the years. We have to search on the internet to find the perfect information to put on the credits, so pe

Is it easy to play the violin?

Learning to  play the violin , viola or cello takes a lot of time, energy and money. Sorry, I'd like to be honest and I don't want to make it any prettier than it is. If you like practicing,  playing  around with your instrument and sorting things out, than it won't be hard or difficult. You will have fun along the way.

It does not take much to learn the  flute  at a beginner level. You can learn to  play  many notes and scales within weeks, even days. That is also part of what makes  flute  so  hard . Anyone can  play  it within weeks, so in order to be “good” at it, you have to put in a lot of time practicing and increasing breath support.

It never causes to amaze me...the anticipaiton of a new year beginning the exitement of engaging in a myriad of learning opportunities and then, how quicky it all passes and we find ourselves at the end of another school year.
