It was originally from a European magazine, and its second appeared in the June 1865 of Godey's Magazine. So she wears it to town and for parties. When she wanted to go get magazines from this time period, she wanted to get the Godey magazines. She went on a boat to Europe, to find her favorite magazines like "La Mode Illustree," and others.
