Artknit Thornhill articles: Artknits Thornhill Articles: Hunger In The GTA: People with disabilities. Part 2

Did you know the government of Ontario has things like growing the production of culturally diverse crops? The adequate law supply of high-quality lands to support vibrant aquaculture and agriculture production across the province ensures stewardship of our capacity for food production over the long term. Métis and First Nations partners have identified strategies to ensure this management extends to natural and traditional food resources.  The provincial government of Ontario is providing healthcare and education programs. It helps people who live in the same province understand the value and benefits of high-quality and nutritious foods: They include:

  • Ontario’s Healthy Kids Strategy
  • Student Nutrition Program
  • Healthy Eating, Active Living (HEAL)
  • Northern Fruit and Vegetable Program
  • Fresh from the Farm
  • Healthy Fundraising for Ontario schools
  • Indigenous Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and Child Nutrition Program
  • Aboriginal Diabetes program
  • Urban Aboriginal Healthy Living Program
To reduce poverty, government ideas could include Means-tested welfare benefits to the poorest in society; for example, unemployment benefits, food stamps, income support, and housing benefits.

Travis has a project about a skit to do in his social studies class. Travis does not like to work in groups just like Velveeta. Travis likes to work all by himself. said Ms. Gordon when she faced to Travis. He does not want to do the outline. Travis was being so lazy. This is why Travis does not like going to school because of his social studies project.  Travis was not an A+ student because he did not hand in his paragraph on literature, and he returns a blank piece of paper for the vocabulary quiz on Wednesday. Mcqueen wanted Travis to come to the office, and Mcqueen wanted Travis to do a book review on his "Fox" book. Mcqueen wanted to find a way for Travis to read better in class. He cannot read like his classmate does. Travis has a learning disorder. Travis gave up on his reading project because when Travis was so bad at reading. Travis does not keep trying at all. And, this is wrong.
