Artknits Special Collections

The Artknits collections began in 1890 when our great grandparents started farming with their old tools from the 1870s and the 1880s, and collecting them in there old unique house near the city of Rome. Over the years, the Artknits have collected over 1,000 vintage items from the 1800s and the early 1900s. Our stuff like jewellery, knitted items, old photos, books, and many other stuff. Many of our stuff had associated with the history of Italy and other types of inventions. We have areas of strength such as:

•Musical Instruments
•Farming Tools
•Old Photos
•Paintings
•And More!
Starting in 2010, we have done our collections in photo frames and our old photo collections to put on our dining room. We have showcase a lots of items like our popular golden earrings from 1897 and our knitted shawls, toys, clocks, blankets, and hats from 1902-1989. We have used those items for events and show and tell days. When we donate items, we have purchased some artifacts with funds, and someone use it to make other things. So, the cell theory states that living things consist of cells, that a cell is the basic structural and function the unit of life. And they are all cells come from pre-existing cells. So, scientist have been study living things for over 400 years. Later, the development of the microscope allows scientist to see cells for the first time because, it was hard to see. So, they can develop the cell theory by basic characteristics, of living things. You have to learn cells from other living things because, you have to learn what is the cell is look like, of its size or complexity. And it reminds us of studying of how living things work.

Yet we do know that for tens of thousands of people across Toronto, the food bank has become part of their social safety net.  Aside from those important trends, poverty and hunger cut across all demographic boundaries. More and more in Toronto, they include those with both high and low levels of education. Because different activities use different parts of our brain, when we try different approaches to learn or do the same thing, our minds do a better job of mastering it.
