News From Artknits Thornhill: The Yukon Striker

Yukon Striker
Coming to Canada’s Wonderland in spring 2019!

Canada’s Wonderland is located in Vaughan, Ontario. It was announced in summer 2018.
Yukon Striker is different from the other roller coasters. It is the tallest, highest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in the whole world. Have you ever seen a dive coaster in Canada?  It will indrodute in spring 2019. Yukon Striker is different from the others because, when the train goes up, it stops for a second and it goes down the underwater tunnel. It drops 90 degrees, and it does a loop that is 360 degrees at the top of the hill. Riders will stare down in 90 degrees. After going up the hill, Yukon Striker will show a half a turn just like a real merry-go-round. This roller coaster will be placed near the water just like Vortex, but not like Behemoth and the Leviathan. The most famous dive coster is in Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England. This dive coaster is called the “ Oblivion.” This dive coaster will be part of Frontier Canada. It was simpler than other exciting roller coasters. That includes a roller coaster that is made of wood, The Mighty Canadian MineBuster and the raft river ride, The White Crayon. The Yukon Striker will be Canada’s Wonderland’s 17th roller coaster.
A few years back, Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio and Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, opened what is called a dive coaster. There is something coming December 2019… It is Canada’s Wonderland’s Winterfest! There are shows there. Also
one thing, you can skate on the ice too. It is the first holiday event. You can eat treats and you can watch live shows too. Canada’ s Wonderland will be closed starting on October 2018 until December 2019! Also Canada’s Wonderland is making a special announcement, it is coming up in 2019.
One is the event in December and one is a roller coaster.
Do you think is a dive coaster?  Maybe it is one of the thrill rides in the theme park! Yukon Striker’s train is not one of Bethmoth and the Leviathan’s trains. Yukon Striker’s trains is a shape of a regtangle, but not like the other roller coasters in the park. The other roller coaster’s trains are like a simple roller coaster train. Flight deck’ s and Sliver Streak’s trains are like sitting on chairs sticking out! But Yukon Striker has a train that a dive coaster would have. I would be excited that a Canadian theme park will be opening next year.
