Celebrating 10 years in Markham!/ Fr: Célébrons 10 ans à Markham!/ It: Festeggiamo 10 anni a Markham!/ Sc: 在万锦庆祝10年！/ Tc: 在萬錦慶祝10年！


Fr: Les personnes d'Aspirations et de Découvertes (également connues sous le nom d'Artknits Markham ou Thornhill ou A et D) fabriquent des cartes pour le 10e anniversaire du lieu. Notre succursale de Markham a été ouverte en 2010 par Rachel Lam et Alan Don. Nous partagerons cette célébration avec cette communauté. Cet emplacement célébrera 10 ans de talent et d'exportations. Et tout l'argent sera reversé à un organisme de bienfaisance communautaire pour aider ceux qui sont dans la pauvreté. 100% du coût était couvert par cet emplacement.

 En: People from Aspirations and Discoveries (also known as Artknits Markham or Thornhill or A and D) make cards for the location's 10th birthday. Our Markham location was opened back in 2010 by Rachel Lam and Alan Don. We will share this celebration with this community. This location will celebrate 10 years of talent and exports. And all money will be donated to a community charity to help those who are in poverty. 100% of the cost was covered by this location. 

It: Le persone di Aspirations and Discoveries (note anche come Artknits Markham o Thornhill o A e D) creano biglietti per il decimo compleanno del luogo. La nostra sede di Markham è stata aperta nel 2010 da Rachel Lam e Alan Don. Condivideremo questa celebrazione con questa comunità. Questa location celebrerà 10 anni di talento ed esportazioni. E tutti i soldi saranno donati a un ente di beneficenza comunitario per aiutare coloro che sono in povertà. Il 100% del costo è stato coperto da questa posizione.

Black History Month Presentation: Martin Luther King Junior: Poverty: Part 2

P overty has a impact on peoples lives on Black Americans by not having the same rights, and also, they have inequality. It was hard for them to get wealth and jobs.    Economic justice is a component of social justice. A quote from his speech is: 100 years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty.” That means they have no money, and they are poor. Black people have low incomes. They can pay proportionally more in the states and local taxes to the rich. Description DescriptionThere are a wide variety of types of economic inequality, most notably measured using the distribution of income and the distribution of wealth. Besides economic inequality between countries or states, there are important types of economic inequality between different groups of people.

September prep for Artknits Markham and Newmarket students! (facebook message)

 This is a message that is said by Artknits Markham in a "Facebook" post:  What is a team? Team is always work together to tackle problems. Some brainstorm September safety bubbles, some set up new classrooms, while some working hard with our kiddos  ❤️ . COVID brings us a lot of unexpected changes, but also bring us together stronger and treasure the amazing team we have and the time we get to do in-person therapy with our kids. Have a wonderful, relaxing long weekend eve ryone!  ☀️
