Artknits Richmond Hill articles: A letter to Travis in the novel "Bluefish."

 Dear Travis,

Hey Travis, how are you doing so far? Has it been hard for you too? Class has been difficult lately, but I am sure it will get better eventually. Sometimes, school is hard for me too. In class, our teacher gave us a lot of hard assignments. It also takes a long time to do them.  I know that your life is different, and I understand you are different so I have something to share with you. I hope this helps.

I remembered when I was in grade 7, I couldn’t focus. Also, I could not read novels very well.  Or maybe, you should go see Mr. Mcqueen more often. Mr. Mcqueen can help you with your reading and your homework.

When you are trying to achieve something you should believe in yourself and say “I am going to do it” and “I'll try my best.” You should make a schedule for time management skills. Or, you can find a tutor to help you with your homework. You can achieve this. I know you like talking about your memories, but you will do your homework and hand in your assignments on time? You can do this Travis!

For the friend part, I understand that making friends is hard.  You should try asking what your friends are interested. You should treat your friends nicely. Or, you can join a club at school. If you wanted to make new friends, you should go to a group you have not met before.

Travis, here are some ways to crease your anger: the first way is you have to focus on the things that you have control or you can listen to music. When I got upset or angry, I can solve this by doing exercise and doing my favorite hobby. My favorite hobbies are drawing, painting, playing harp/piano, and tap/ballet dancing. Or you can do mindful minutes. Mindful minutes are a relaxing way to calm yourself. First, take deep breaths. Second, think of the things that make you happy.

Travis, you could try doing your homework first with your tutor. Then, you could think about your other stuff.

Sincerely, The Artknits

Artknits Thornhill articles: Lets learn about cells!

So, the cell theory states that living things consist of cells, that a cell is the basic structural and function the unit of life. And they are all cells come from pre-existing cells. So, scientist have been study living things for over 400 years. Later, the development of the microscope allows scientist to see cells for the first time because, it was hard to see. So, they can develop the cell theory by basic characteristics, of living things. You have to learn cells from other living things because, you have to learn what is the cell is look like, of its size or complexity. And it reminds us of studying of how living things work.

These are Bernice's cue cards for her hunger project: Part 2

In the 2016 “Who’s Hungry Report,” from “Daily Bread Food Bank, they say “People who live in a disability, and those having a body with a specific kind.” Those people who lived in the entire lives in Canada, and those who were immigrants.   People were struggled  with a lack of income and increasing high costs of shelter and food.  Many who are struggling do not access any food program at all due to stigma, not knowing about them or inability to access them because of lack of money for transit or lack of physical accessibility. Yet we do know that for tens of thousands of people across Toronto, the food bank has become part of their social safety net.  Aside from those important trends, poverty and hunger cut across all demographic boundaries. More and more in Toronto, they include those with both high and low levels of education. Those who are working and those who are not.  Fighting for hunger means to me is to fight is to reduce poverty, ...

What is the word "Auditory" means, and why it is a learning style?

Whatever your strongest Learning Styles results are, the best way to learn something is to try using all three Learning Style approaches whenever you can. Because different activities use different parts of our brain, when we try different approaches to learn or do the same thing, our minds do a better job of mastering it. So, it means to relate to the sense of hearing. It relates to the tings that we hear.
